Christopher Marcatili is a freelance writer, editor and researcher. For the last five years he has focused on story-telling across various platforms.
He grew up in the western suburbs of Sydney and is now a proud resident of Redfern.
His preferred approach to fiction uses estrangement to make social commentary, typically in the genres of speculative and weird fiction. Literary inspirations come from David Mitchell, Jeff VanderMeer, Ursula le Guin and China Miéville. Non-fiction interests focus on storytelling and creativity in their broadest senses.
Christopher has a Masters of Creative Writing from the University of Technology, Sydney and also has an undergraduate degree in Anthropology from the University of Sydney.
